The Rainforest Collection was created as the inaugural furniture line of the Design and Innovation Hub – a collection designed not only to produce beautiful furniture, but to demonstrate a new model for creating value from Guyana's forests.

Each piece combines responsibly sourced timber with non-timber forest products, particularly the remarkable kufa vine, whose flowing parabolic form inspired the collection's distinctive visual language. The original Rainforest Stool, available in both three- and four-legged versions, became the foundation for an expanding family of tables, seating, and complementary pieces that share the same sculptural character.

From the beginning, the collection was designed with both Guyanese and international markets in mind. Flat-packed and nested components reduce transportation costs while thoughtful material choices celebrate the diversity of Guyana's forests. Every design seeks to demonstrate how contemporary furniture can increase the value of responsibly managed forests, strengthen local manufacturing, and create lasting pride in Guyanese craftsmanship.
